With Reid!
Hi kids! My name is Reid, and as you can tell from my name, I LOVE to read! Reading can be quite an adventure.
Reading is fun because of all you can learn! My favorite book is the Bible–it's filled with all kinds of exciting stories.

God Brings Happy Endings!
No matter what book or story I read, though, I can always see that obeying God is what brings happy endings!
I can see it in all my favorite stories. Disobeying God brings trouble, and obeying God solves problems!

My Favorite Bible Passage is
Ecclesiastes 12:12-14
It says,
Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
I like this passage because it shows that the right moral to EVERY story is simple; obey God!

Reading is an Adventure!
Reading a book or story can take you to another world. You can even pretend that you're a character in the story! I think that's lots of fun, because then, you can ask yourself what you would do if you were the character. Most importantly, you can ask yourself what God would want the characters in the story to do. That way, you can learn a little bit more about what God wants YOU to do! |
