The difference between scientific fact, theory, and faith. |
How science works, why evolution doesn't work, and why Faith in God works. |
Faith is being sure of things we can't see--but our faith should be built on a firm foundation. |
Hebrews 11:1
Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. |
 |
God created the world in six days--just like the Bible says! |
The Genesis account of creation makes much more sense than worldly explanations. |
Through a detailed look at the six days of creation, it is clear that God created the world. |

Some theories about dinosaurs--and what the Bible has to say about them. |
Hollow philosophies like evolution don't hold up, but we CAN stand on God's Word! |
Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophies... |
 |
How SIN wiped out the dinosaurs and ruined the earth. |
The dinosaurs died during and after the great flood--the result of our sin. |
Sin ruined all of the world, bringing death, sickness, and evil, even killing the dinosaurs. |
Romans 6:23
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
 |
Sin ruined the earth and still threatens us, but there IS a solution... |
A detailed explanation of WHY Jesus came, and how He can wipe out ALL sin. |
A detailed explanation of the gospel, why we need Christ, and how to come to Him. |
Romans 5:8
God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. |
|
TrueRassic Park Teaches:
•A literal six 24-hour-day creation (Exodus 20:9-11)
•That evolutionism is a hollow theory (Colossians 2:8)
•That evolutionism is completely incompatible with the Bible
•That dinosaurs were created on the 5th and 6th days of creation and lived at the same time as humans (Genesis 1:24, Job 40:15)
•That dinosaurs, as land animals, were not excluded from Noah's Ark (Genesis 7:14-16)
•That the great flood wiped out the dinosaurs (Genesis 7:23)
•That sin brought about the great flood (Genesis 6:5-8) and therefore the extinction of the dinosaurs
•That sin still curses us today (Romans 6:23)
•That Jesus Christ is the ONLY solution for sin (John 14:6)
|

In addition to the central Bible lesson and drama lesson for each day, TrueRassic Park includes a number of additional fun and educational activities to complete the TrueRassic Park experience. Here is a brief description of those activities:
Crafts Time
For each day of VBS a simple but fun crafts project has been developed for the children to make. These projects range from dinosaur masks to "fossil art." All of the crafts will remind children of the lessons learned, and all of them are very simple for the Crafts Director to manage.
Game Time
To allow the children to release extra energy each day of VBS, special games have been included for TrueRassic Park. These games include a "dinosaur dig" relay, where kids "dig up dinosaur bones" from a wading pool and then try to assemble them, and another game called "Run Dino, Run," in which children race while wearing "dinosaur feet." These, among other games, add even more fun to VBS.
Snack Time
Each day, you can also serve your VBS children a special TrueRassic Park snack, such as "dino chow" or "vegetation sensation" or "two-by-two sandwiches." All of the snacks are simple to prepare and relate loosely to the day's lesson.
Lab Time
Unique to TrueRassic Park, Lab Time is a session similar to a "mini museum." Lab Time takes place in a special area with a number of hands-on activities and exhibits for children to experience and learn from. These activities include several "probability exercises" to demonstrate the improbability of evolution, simple science experiments, and the faith game. You may also make several dinosaur books available for kids to look at during lab time, or they may use this time for doing their take-home worksheets. The VBS kit includes several activities for Lab Time.
Music Time
Generally part of each day's closing assembly, all of the VBS children can participate in praise & worship, using the special TrueRassic Park Music CD provided with your VBS kit.
Missions Project
Several suggestions and resources are included in the VBS kit for a VBS missions project, giving your VBS children a goal to shoot for.
