Welcome to TruthQuest's exciting Vacation Bible School program, TrueRassic Park! This exciting VBS program takes children on a fun adventure with dinosaurs, learning about the wonder of God's creation and His divine power.

First, to set the stage for the week's lessons, children are taught about how REAL science works, why evolutionary theories do NOT comply with scientific procedures, and the difference between scientific facts, theories, and faith, which is defined in Hebrews 11:1. A lesson in faith follows, showing children how our belief in the Truth of God's Word, by faith, is well-founded.

Children are then guided through the six days of creation from Genesis chapter one, pointing out the flaws with evolutionary theories and emphasizing the reliability of God's Word.

Then, they'll learn about dinosaurs, which were created along with humans on the sixth day of creation, and where dinosaurs are described in the Bible, again shooting holes in evolutionary theories.

Next, children learn about the great flood, which wiped out the dinosaurs that hadn't been on the ark, and how the sin of mankind is ultimately responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs, along with all death, pain and sorrow.

Finally, with the effects of sin clearly defined, you'll present the solution for sin in a powerful presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

TrueRassic Park Teaches:
•A literal six 24-hour-day creation (Exodus 20:9-11)
•That evolutionism is a hollow theory (Colossians 2:8)
•That evolutionism is completely incompatible with the Bible
•That dinosaurs were created on the 5th and 6th days of creation and lived at the same time as humans (Genesis 1:24, Job 40:15)
•That dinosaurs, as land animals, were not excluded from Noah's Ark (Genesis 7:14-16)
•That the great flood wiped out the dinosaurs (Genesis 7:23)
•That sin brought about the great flood (Genesis 6:5-8) and therefore the extinction of the dinosaurs
•That sin still curses us today (Romans 6:23)
•That Jesus Christ is the ONLY solution for sin (John 14:6)

Teaching Discernment from God's Word

TrueRassic Park takes on the issue of evolution head-on, knowing that most children have been or will be taught that they evolved. By establishing the credibility of God's Word and by exposing the flaws and blunders which surround evolutionary theories, children will learn that man-made philosophies are subject to human error and prejudice, while God's Word remains tried and true. Children will learn that, although many of the Truths of God's Word cannot be proven through the scientific method, we have good reasons for placing our faith in God's Word--much better reasons than evolutionists have for their faith. TrueRassic Park also makes no provision for Theistic Evolution (the idea that God began the process of evolution and then passively let it "run its course"), because this is inconsistent with God's Word. A literal six-day creation is taught, just as described in the Bible.

Building on the Foundation

Once the credibility of God's Word is emphasized, the stage is set to explain how dinosaurs fit into the BIble, what happened to them, and how our sin ultimately wiped them out. Children will learn just how far-reaching the effects of sin are, resulting in all death, disease, sorrow and suffering. By describing what our world could be like without sin, this point is made even more clear.

God's Solution for Sin

Finally, with the sad truth of sin revealed to the children, you'll present them with the solution for sin in complete detail. Children will learn WHY Jesus' sacrifice was necessary, HOW it takes away our sin, and WHY we all need to make the choice to accept God's gift to us.
